Surface Treatments Streets in various parts of town received a crack sealing treatment in January. In April we will begin the surface treatment. The streets will not be closed during the crack seal process but minor delays are possible. Please reference the maps below to plan daily trips and remove all parked vehicles from the impacted streets. The Town of Paradise Valley will have a contractor resurfacing Tatum Blvd by applying a 1½-inch rubberized asphalt overlay from Cadia Del Sol south to the Town limits at 44th Street. The Tatum Blvd resurfacing project will begin April 2nd, 2018 and continue thru June 30th, 2018. During this project you can expect long delays on Tatum Blvd especially during commute hours. Please consider using alternate routes if possible.
The schedule for the Tatum Blvd project is as follows:
April 2nd thru April 30th re-construct (update) 61 ADA curb ramps.
April 16th thru April 30th pre-lower manholes and utility hand valves.
May 1st, thru May 31st start milling asphalt and placing new rubberized asphalt.
May 31st thru June 29th Manhole, utility hand valve adjustments and striping.
Section 14 & Mockingbord Ln from Invergordon to 56th St;
In the upcoming months of April and May, the Town of Paradise Valley will be employing a contractor to perform roadway maintenance in maintenance districts 14 and Mockingbird Ln from 56th St to Invergordon Rd. This roadway maintenance includes crack sealing the roadways. This is followed by a surface treatment, Polymer Modified Masterseal (PMM) Seal Coat. An application of PMM Seal Coat will be applied to half of the roadway one day and the other half of the roadway the following day. During this phase roads will be the restricted, not closed for approximately 10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Access will only be allowed for extreme emergencies.
Section 2 & 4 mill and overlay;
The Town of Paradise Valley will have a contractor resurfacing the streets in maintenance districts 2 & 4 by applying an 1½-inch asphalt overlay. Streets will be restricted at times but will not be closed. Work will start on 4/16/2018 and continue thru 6/29/18.
